After reading all the Amazon reviews we were convinced we had a limited number of choices when it came to getting a larger patio umbrella. After reading some of the critical reviews we went ahead & bought this 11 footer. It arrived sooner than Amazon had promised. The shipping carton was undamaged and the umbrella in perfect condition. Size? Bigger than most other offerings in garden centers and web sites. Quality? No complaints on the finish, hardware, construction and operation. Oh yes it's as wind sensitive as a sail on a boat so we just don't put it out when the wind is gusting off the lake. All the cushions on our patio furniture are covered in Sunbrella fabric and it is a perfect match. We certainly never expected this umbrella to operate like a smaller patio umbrella. Collapsing requires a little finesse as the descending fabric gathers between the ribs. We simply take our time and arrange the fabric folds equally between the ribs before returning the umbrella to inside storage. Would we buy another? Absolutely.
